AbilityOne Program
Established in 1938, the AbilityOne Program is administered by the U.S. AbilityOne Commission®, an independent Federal agency whose statutory name is the Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled. The Commission has designated National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and SourceAmerica® as central nonprofit agencies to help administer the Program. More than 440 nonprofit organizations employ these individuals and provide quality products and services to the Federal Government at a fair market price. BISM is a proud member of the AbilityOne Program.
